So I am planning on having a halloween party, and I am looking for a really cute plus sized Alice costume.

Does anyone know where to find them?

Torrid has an alice in wonderland costume it is sooo cute that's actually what i think i'm going to wear for my party it's the baby blue outfit with the little apron and petty coat it's kinda short but they have black and white stripped knee highs that match perfectly plus the have black or white mary jane heels which makes the outfit cute/sexy but if your younger then id go with something besides the heels maybe something that is a little more age appropriate

I dont want a cheep looking costume but cant seem to find anything nice. I am looking for a junior or adult sized costume that isn't slutty but isn't as long as my ankles. I havn't found anything nice at all. Plz help me out. I am having an alice in wonderland party for my 19th and wanted to wear it.

Go to a thrift store and find a blue dress that will fit you and get a white apron. put you hair in a black bow.

Or get a pattern, Mcalls or Simplicty have one and make the dress.

A friend and I are dressing up as a somewhat updated version of Alice in Wonderland, and The Mad Hatter.
I'm not a huge fan of the more revealing pre-made costumes.

What are some good sites with dresses that would work?

If you are wanting a modern/updated version of Alice, I would go with a dress in any solid color (any shade of blue, pink, black, whatever!) then add the accessories she is known to wear such as the white apron, white socks (maybe even socks that are striped with the color of the dress), black mary jane type shoes (could even go with heels or platforms to update the look) and a black headband. If you want to carry something to add on to the costume, paint up a bottle with fancy detail and attach a tag that says "drink me" or carry a little lunchbox type of container, and you can make cookies and write "eat me" on the cookies, and you can give them to your friends!

Edit: Sorry, I meant to include some links for dresses. I personally don't think it has to be the "exact" style of dress that Alice wears, especially since you are going for an updated version. And part of Halloween is doing your own thing and working with what you've got!
